May Breakfast Fly-In

Come join us on May 19th for some scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, grits, pancakes and flying fun!  We start serving at 7:30 am and continue until about 9:30 am.  Weather not good enough to fly?  Just get in you car and drive over, breakfast will be here waiting regardless of weather.  The suggested donation is $6 for adults and $4 for children.  The Chapter donates 50% of the breakfast proceeds to the Buckhorn High School Band Boosters for the great job they do cooking and serving the food.  Young Eagles flights for kids age 8 to 17 will also be offered.  Parents (or legal guardian) must accompany kids to sign registration form.

Chapter Fly-Out - Tennessee Museum of Aviation

The Tennessee Museum of Aviation is co-located on the Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge Airport (KGKT).  Nine members in 4 aircraft made the flight on May 12th after having breakfast at Guntersville.  The museum has some really nice displays and a number of warbirds on display.  The area around Gatlinburg is also very scenic.
